I'm new to writing, so I'll try to improve. I do think smart people live in Macedonia and try their best.
I can think of many positive tech things: the high school linear algebra/calculus courses (quite good compared to countries with much better living standards), the algorithmic competitions (MENDO.mk) organized by https://cs.org.mk/, the attempt to integrate Edubuntu into schools, Mikrosam Prilep with their software and robotics/machinery products, and many companies that I'm still learning about, etc. Part of inspiration for the article is to say something good about Macedonia and its people.
All respects to Igor and Time.mk, but that opening sentence is not smart (populistic) as the discussion in the article.
Having the fact thah probably the author is Macedonian, he could have though of mentioning some smart and current facts about Macedonia.
